binge or weekly viewings

I just binged the 5th season of Game of Thrones and let me just tell you I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have watching in real time.  Granted, I watch all the Netflix shows on binge, but my Game of Thrones has always been a "wait for it til Sunday" kind of show for me (partly because it began before HBOgo existed).  I bet it has something to do with ALL the story lines and keeping them straight. Although that was actually a perk from binging -I could follow them easier- but I didn't care as much.

AND THE FINALE!!!! WTF!!!!!! It wasn't til I turned off the TV that I was like, 'did that really just happen?!?'

We've become numb to the action. (Or it may have been the red wine)

There were so many pivotal plot points that were just glazed over in my memory because I wanted to rush to the end of the season instead of enjoying it as it went along. It was almost like a duty for me to complete! TV SHOULDN'T BE A DUTY!

Just some lite commentary on where I am right now.

Now I have Scandal to catch up on..............................
